Minnesota Department of Corrections Field Services Team COVE Implementation Quarterly Meeting

Transforming Corrections and its sister organization Justice System Assessment and Training (J-SAT) are guiding a team of senior managers from the Minnesota Department of Corrections Field Services Team to implement Coaching Options that are Versatile and Effective (COVE). These senior managers want to develop their coaching skills and test the COVE Practice Model of coaching to see if it might be useful throughout the entire agency. The senior managers are thus “modeling the way”.  The goal is for senior managers to reach competency in using COVE and thus be better able to challenge and support their staff to uncover and meet their developmental challenges and be better able to foster the desistance journey of the people they supervise in the field.
