Oregon Juvenile Department Directors Association Presentation

Tom O’Connor will present to the Oregon Juvenile Department Directors Association on the success of the Yamhill County Juvenile Probation Department in implementing the COVE model of coaching youth involved with the criminal justice system.  Through their work with Tom and his colleague, Samantha Collins, Yamhill County has embraced this coaching model that has transformed the way they work with youth under supervision leading to more successful outcomes.  Tom will present on the rigorous process of implementation science that has guided this successful implementation through enabling the agency context, ongoing collaboration amongst staff, direct session feedback, and coaching.
