Indiana’s Legal and Evidence-Based Pretrial Justice Program

As faculty of the National Institute of Corrections, Tom O’Connor provided training and technical assistance to over 100 people involved in advancing a legal and evidence-based Pretrial Justice Program throughout the state of Indiana.  He used the principles of Adaptive Leadership and Implementation Science to coach these leaders on how to create an “enabling context”.  Tom showed them how to use the  Stages of Implementation Completion (SIC) Instrument to implement a Pretrial Justice Program that is sustainable and has measurable benefits for community members and local criminal justice systems.
